Castles in the Clouds

There are no rules of architecture for a castle in the clouds.
— Gilbert K. Chesterton

Loftily the lights will sing,

so merrily in May.

Carried now with confidence

by wind along their way.

Restlessly they run along,

and carefully they crawl.

Billowing upon the breeze

and fearlessly they fall.

Heartily the Heavens sigh,

so peacefully they play.

Joyous in their journeying,

(to demonstrate they sway).

Rapidly they rise again,

and shake away our shrouds.

Limitless and ever lovely:

Castles in the Clouds.
